Snow-capped mountains of Chillán

Formed 650,000 years ago, according to research by the National Geology and Mining Service of Chile (Sernageomin), the Nevados de Chillán volcanic complex is made up of eighteen volcanoes, located in the mountain ranges of the beautiful Andes Mountains of the Ñuble Region. It is surrounded by several small valleys, which form rivers that flow into larger ones.
