Cathedral of Chillán

Declared a national monument in 2014, the Cathedral of Chillán is one of the best-known and most popular postcards of the city, due to its large size and striking modern architecture. The work was built between 1941 and 1960 by architect Hernán Larraín Errázuriz and is part of a group of buildings that began to rise after the earthquake of 1939, which left the city practically on the ground.
