Chillán Railway Station

Inaugurated in 1941, the Chillán Railway Station corresponds to a group of buildings of modern architecture built in the city after the 1939 earthquake. Its structure is characterized by its marked horizontality and its tower that rises to the height of Libertad Avenue, which serves as a landmark and connects the railroad station with the city's Armas Square.

The Chillán Station is located in one of the "four avenues" of Chillán, on Brasil Avenue, specifically, and inside you can see the mural "Ñuble: luz, greda y canto" (Ñuble: light, clay and song), painted by Alicia Valenzuela.

Practical information:

  • The station has a parking area.
  • The station has a cafeteria and commercial premises inside.
  • The place has enough space for the installation of dressing rooms, catering areas, and restrooms, among others.
