Located in the heart of the regional capital of Ñuble, the Claudio Arrau Museum was inaugurated at the end of 2005, with the objective of recognizing the important contribution to cultural development made by the outstanding pianist, who was born in Chillán on February 6, 1903. The museum was built in the artist's own house and has four rooms: Arrau-Schnaider Archive, Historical Hall, Lucrecia León Hall, and Rosita Renard Hall, where a large part of Arrau's musical pieces can be appreciated and enjoyed, as well as countless artistic expressions inspired by his creations.
